Graiguenamanagh is famous for its pubs with Mick Doyle’s being especially well-known for its traditional, now unusual pub/hardware shop layout. If you want live music and a box of nails with your pint, Mick Doyle’s is the place to go! You won’t go thirsty for a lack of great pubs around here.
Just a five minute drive or taxi trip away is Clashganny House run by chef Rob White and his wife, Karen. Clashganny House offers superb fine dining alongside an extensive list of cocktails, gin and wine. If you feel like working up an appetite, the restaurant is just a couple of miles’ walk up the riverbank from Graiguenamanagh! For food-lovers visiting the Barrow Valley, Clashganny House is a must.
The Step House Hotel in Borris is a ten minute hop up the road by car, serving fantastic French-inspired cooking using as many locally-sourced ingredients as possible. Foodies will be spoilt for choice!
The Duiske Inn in Graiguenamanagh open 7 days a week from 12 noon to 3pm to serve lunch open from Thursday to Saturday where dinner is served just a 2 minute walk from here.
River Palace & Thai Restaurant open 7 days a week from 4.30-10.30pm.
